हिनजाव गोदान आथि सुनाय (Hinjau gwdan)

A pre-wedding rituals in the Bodo marriage.
Cultural Narrative: 

When the marriage party arrives along with the bridegroom and the bride in the bridegroom’s house. The bride is welcomed by the parents and villagers. The bride’s feet are washed with water and then she is purified before she enters the ‘nomano’ with holy water kept by the priest (deuri).
