जोमग्रा (Jwmgra)

Summary: 
Jwmgra is an upper garment used by women of Bodo community with a mixture of different unique colours. The length of Jwmgra is about 264 cm and breadth 107 cm.
Cultural Narrative: 

The cloth is used as shawl or scraf with dokhona. The Jwmgra is traditional woven of red, yellow and white with minor patterns of orange and black. The main pattern is goose eye but some of the verticals stripes are just the red and white thread left open for about 8 threads. The red thread is silk, while the yellow and other colours seem to be cotton.
