सोरखि - (Swrkhi)

Summary:
Swrkhi is a spinning tool made of bamboo. It is used for winding threads and to hold sorted threads before setting the loom for weaving. It is used in Boro traditional weaving practices.
Cultural Narrative:

The threads are spins around the Swrkhi using the Zothor (spinning wheel). Most commonly, it makes the thread rounds bigger, which facilitates weaving and removes knots. Next, the threads are wound onto smaller spools called the Bobbin. Zothor is operated by a single operator who spins the thread onto the spools with one hand and spins the thread into the wheel with the other.
