Description: 

The above photo is of a small variety of Khaojep. it is made of bamboo strips, purely hand crafted by Dimasa menfolk. The height of this Khaojep is 8.6 cm, the whole body of it is round in shape and the upper part of the lid has a cap like structure. it is dark brown in color from outside and light brown in color from inside.  

Cultural Narrative: 

According to the information given by the owner of this heritage item, it will be around 200 years old and it was used by her ancestors for storing 'Gajao-Guphu' (Gold and silver ornaments) in it. It is one of the traditional ornament casket of Dimasa people used in olden time.
