सेलथाव (Selthao)

Selthao/Salthao  (सेलथाव/सालथाव) is a play item, a bamboo gun. The material used to make Selthao is branch of the bamboo. There are two parts for the bamboo gun the hollow cylindrical piece of bamboo and a piston made from bamboo stick. A seed or wet paper is inserted in the one end of the hollow cylindrical bamboo and on the other end it is rapidly  pushed by the piston, the air is compressed inside the hallow bamboo which cause pop out like a shot bullet. It was popularly played among the kids in Boro Community.
