Cultural Narrative:

The puja or any ritual in the temple starts every day at 12 noon. People from different places, from children to old and even sick people, come to this auspicious place to pay obeisance. People believe that the priests here can cure sick people by blowing out certain exorcism or by reciting some mantras. Kali puja is celebrated here with great pomp every year. The presumed form of Kali here is Krishna Kali. Therefore, unlike other kali temples, sacrifices are not performed here and can be satisfied with simple offerings. In fact, living creatures are allowed to be released into the temple, believing them to be God's angels.

When the temple was initially built, its structure was very simple. Later on, it was given its modern look. Moreover, there is a large black stone, which has emerged from the earth on its own. That is why people also worship it considering it to be a form of God .That stone is inside the pavilion of the temple, which is looked after by the priest here.
